Walk for the Heart

Today, staff and students from the Pioneer Center participated in the 35th annual American Heart Association Walk for the Heart. This year’s theme was “Getting your Ducks in a Row” and everyone did just that by participating for the 35th time. They walked for one hour in order to raise money for the American Heart Association.  They set a goal of $250.00 dollars and with the donations from students, staff, and parents; they doubled that raising $500.00. Students who raised $5.00 or more received a red rubber duck.  All money raised supports the American Heart Association research and education initiatives that save lives in our community. DSC_0028 DSC_0035 DSC_0054 DSC_0057 DSC_0061 DSC_0010 DSC_0012 DSC_0014 DSC_0019 DSC_0026
