News Article – Pioneer Eyes Levy Success

CHILLICOTHE GAZETTE — Pioneer Center officials hope the favorable light shone on its services to those with developmental disabilities in a recent community survey will carry over to polling places in March.

The online survey drew more than 300 responses, with about 240 of those coming from people who don’t work for the agency. Superintendent Leia Snyder said those responses came from partner agencies, families of those who use Pioneer services, people from area school districts and members of the community at large.

“It was really a wide range of opinions, which was really what we were looking for, so we were glad to see that,” she said.
